Introduction to the topic of divinely inspired ideas.
Two key truths are necessary to be believed in before we can work as Daniel did!
1) Christ lives in us
2) God provides all the necessary resources for our assigned task - for the good works that He has already prepared for us in advance!
Welcome friends to the I can't wait for Monday. Glory be to God, our beloved Father. Friends, Tomislav Tom here. In this series, we are continuing the theme about divinely inspired ideas. All right, so these are the ideas that God our Father gives us through the Spirit of Jesus who lives in us, so that we may solve problems within, friends, within God's assignment, God's plan and God's mission for our life. In this sense, before we begin with the book of Daniel, we will first have to unpack two aspects, two dimensions that perhaps some people maybe do not even believe. Point number one, Christ lives in you. Point number two, God, the Father, gives you all the resources needed to carry out the assignment, the task, the mission, His will, for which He has sent you and created you to be here on earth. For this, there are many confirmations in the Word of God. I will not go through all of them now. Of course, we will touch many of them in the episodes that will follow. But for now, just a few things. First, God provides for those he sends, because he is the king. Kings do that. They never leave you alone when they send you for an assignment. When Jesus, our Lord, sent his disciples out, what did he tell them? Do not take with you a bag, a staff, etc. Money. And when they returned, what did he ask them? Did you lack anything? They answered, nothing. That is, of course, a direct confirmation of God's care for those who are inside God's assignment. I will repeat it once more. Did you lack anything? Nothing, they answered. The book of Nehemiah, to which we will return more deeply at another point, reminds us of the same thing. It actually testifies for the same thing, because the word of God is a testimony for God's faithfulness. It's the revealed truth, the truth about how things really are, not how we think they are. God's word reveals to us how reality is structured. Okay, so when the king sent Nehemiah to Jerusalem, he supplied him with all the resources he needed in order to carry out the task. Because that's precisely what kings do. When they send you on an assignment, they provide you with everything you need. So for all of us who are business people, professional people, this is not strange at all. We know very well that every responsible company takes care of its employees. Moreover, the more responsible they are, the more they they take care of their own. So when a company sends you on a particular assignment to another country or another city, to another business partner, they provide you with the means, with the tools, with the resources to carry out the assignment. It may be things, right? Equipment, work equipment, computers, company cars, but it can be plain resources, travel expenses, people, right? Time. They set you apart to do a thing. Like the Holy Spirit said it, set apart Paul and Barnabas for the assignment. So you see how it is in heaven, so be it on earth. No wonder then some companies are doing well because they are following God's will. They are following the Father's Creator's plan for humanity. When you send somebody to do something for you, and it is within your power to empower them for that assignment, do so, because God does it like that. We also need to do it like that as well. Okay, so as the scripture says, seek first his kingdom, his rulership, and everything else will be added to you. The Greek word for added, well, we'll go into more detail about this in a later episode, but it literally means to place something in a heap for a specific purpose. So to place something in front of you, to gather resources, to put them all on the same spot for you to use for a specific purpose, for a work, for a task, for something that needs to be done. So to place on a heap, to give to you the resources needed to carry out the good work that is in front of you. We know that from Ephesians, right? God has already prepared those good works for us in advance. So there's no fear in the kingdom, there's nothing to be afraid of, no lack of resources, because God provides directly for the accomplishment of his will on earth. As Paul says it in 2 Corinthians 9 8, God is able to bless you abundantly with every kind of grace, so that in what? Everything, when at all times, having what? All that you need, all that you need. So it's not merely having little that is enough, but it is abounding. It's to abound for every good work. We have everything at all times. The Greek there is, by the way, beautiful. We will go into detail one other time. But it actually means that everything is covered, everything is fully covered. At every moment in time, you have access to that which you need. Wealth in the kingdom is not there for your personal gain, for your personal enrichment. It's there for the assignment, and you have access to it. You will not store it, you will not accumulate it, you have access to when you need it. That is why Jesus has sent his disciples without anything, and they still lacked nothing. Why? Because they have access, they have direct access. Wherever they went, everything was prepared for them. Everything was already set up for them to succeed in their mission. Glory be to God. As Scripture says elsewhere, my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So every need, the need for what? For his kingdom. For his kingdom. Father, let your will be done. I did not come to earth to do my own will, to accomplish my own will, but to do the will of the Father. As the Father has sent me, so I sent you. It's the same plan. God has sent Jesus, our Lord, and anointed King of kings, to establish finally once again his rulership on earth. And now within that same rulership, Jesus appoints his own appointees to do the will of the Father. In the same manner, Jesus had everything that he needed to accomplish his plan, forgive me, God's plan for his life to the fullest, he appoints us with that same authority, to have everything we need to accomplish the Father's plan, the Father's most beautiful will for our lives. So it's his rule, it's his rulership, it's his ideas for our life and for humanity as a whole, his idea for humanity, his plan for my city, his plan for my company. It's not my plan, it's his plan. And when is when it's his plan, it's his resources, and praise be to God, the silver are mine, the gold is mine, says the Lord. Everything and the earth and its fullness belongs to the Maker who is our Father. So everything is his, and he gives it to accomplish his will, as it should be, because he is the true King of Kings. So, my friends, it's not as many people often may think, right? It's my need, my enjoyment, my pleasure. It's not about my benefit, it's not about my self-indulgence, it's not about my pleasure. And in the same manner, it is said in the scripture that we do not receive because we ask wrongly in a corrupt manner. That's the reason why we do not receive, to spend it on our passions. God gives you the resources for the accomplishment of his perfect and best plan for your life, which is tremendously awesome. There's nothing that can compare with the beauty, the with the perfection, with the majesty of God's absolutely fantastic plan for our life. That is the reason why Jesus can say, Father, I came to do your will, because it is really the best of the best. It is best of the best. Unfortunately, people do not see it, right? They simply often do not see how beautiful and marvelous and and the best of all realities, to be frank, is the Father's will for our life. But that is the reason we are called to rise in faith and to believe, because Jesus said it himself at one moment have the faith of God, have God's faith. Okay, so that was the first aspect. God guarantees, He guarantees us, He will provide us with everything required to fulfill His assignment. That means health, that means finances, resources, that means uh human power, people, friends, partners, that means time, perhaps maybe today above all, right? Time and health, he will give us everything required to fulfill his will. That's the first aspect. Now the second aspect, which is that Christ does that as he lives in you. Friends, if we do not believe that, that Christ is in us, then we will never have the effectiveness, Christ's effectiveness, God's effectiveness in our life. The reason, of course, is rather simple. He lives in us, and it is he who does it, right? As Paul says it, not me. I have worked more than all of you, but not me, but the grace of God working in me. That's really the secret behind all the kingdom giants in the history of Christianity. Ever since the first apostles, there were simply those men and those women, young and old, who believed He Himself lives in me, and He will do His works through me, and He does it. And He does it always when we believe it. So Paul says this also in Colossians first chapter 26, when he speaks about the mystery that God hid. So God hid it. That that, by the way, that context is also targeting the worship of angelic beings by that specific community. So Paul here says it plainly. Now, for this reason, precisely, Paul in the 2nd Corinthians 13 5 says, Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test. Now that word fail the test is in Greek a bit peculiar, it's adokimos. It means counterfeit. It basically means counterfeit money. So whether Christ is in you, you need to see it by yourself. Otherwise, you're a counterfeit. That's what precisely what Paul says. So you let us not be counterfeits. Let us renew our minds. Metanoia, metanoin, which means in Greek repent, precisely means change the way you think. Repent means change the way you think, because now we are new creatures, and now Christ lives in us. He truly does. Blessed be his name. But this mystery only God can reveal fully to us to its utter and utmost extent. However, until we understand these two key segments, not much will change in our lives, and we will really not be able to receive and accomplish divinely inspired ideas. Upon these two aspects, that Christ lives in us, and the second aspect that God provides resources for the accomplishment of His will, stands the entire edifice of working out divinely inspired ideas. So until this changes, we will not be able to move in this divine knowledge. Again, however, we need to point out that God's divine ideas are not there for our own little personal pleasure. They are there to accomplish God's plan for us. They're actually a part, a segment of God's plan that unravels in our lives, which of course God wants to unfold, to unravel in our lives. And it depends on us. Will we be able to listen and to follow through with his plan? But again, it's not for our personal pleasure, because Jesus Himself said, I did not come to do my own will, but to do the will of the Father. Father, let your will be done, right? This is something that we pray in the Lord's Prayer. So it's really vital to know that this divine knowledge, divine inspiration will not be given to those who wish to use it for personal gain. And they will never receive it because God knows our hearts. And he will simply, he will simply not share it. God shares it with those who want to do his will. So let us not behave or think like magicians. We will hear about magicians in the book of Daniel as well. Rather, we will clearly see that God's power is given to those who are faithful to his covenant. Our Father who are in heaven, hallowed be your name. It's sanctification. First, your holiness comes first, then my holiness, be holy as your father is holy, be perfect as your father is perfect. And then the Father's plan for humanity. Let your rulership be here on earth as it is in heaven, your will on earth as it is in heaven. Through whom? Through me, his chosen child. Let us always have these two things in mind as we go through the book of Daniel, my friends. In that sense, let us always stay encouraged that there are no ceilings, there are no limits on the life of a believer for whom the father has appointed a task, and who accepts is obedient to the accomplishment of that task through his life. There are no ceilings, no limits. If the father wills you to open up a new hospital, he will give you everything you need to open up that hospital. It may last a 10, I mean, it may be a project that lasts 10 years, but he may do it in a year if he wants to. It's all up to him. If he wants you to start a small company, a small team of just two persons, he will give you everything you need to accomplish that. Or if you're gonna be a one-man company as well, it really doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is for us to obey his voice, as Mary said it. Whatever he tells you, do it. For this reason, it's really vital for us to when we hear the word and when we when we read the word about the kingdom, that we accept it with faith. God wants to establish his rule, his kingdom through us, his beloved children here on earth. For each of us within the domain of our lives and of our work, of our jobs. God wants to do that, but if we do not believe it, nothing will happen. As Hebrews 4:2 says, good news came to us just as to them, but the message did not benefit them. Why? Because it was not united by faith. The good news came to us as to them, but they did not believe it. They did not believe it. God's rulership through me within the domain which God has appointed me. Blessed be God. Therefore, dear friends, if you hear this but do not believe it, there will be no effect. If you do not believe that God can give you divinely inspired ideas that can change your life and the life of your family, in the life of your company, and your city, and your nation, and the entire world. If God wills it so, then nothing will happen. We will simply carry on living our lives like everybody does, right? But Christ promises us, you are the light of the world, not just the light of my city or my country, you are the light of the world. And as we heard before, light can also mean knowledge, inspiration, truth. You are the knowledge of the world. God can give you knowledge that solves problems for the entire world. And Christ, who is in me, gives me all the resources to accomplish his will. Praise be to God. With that, I salute you until the next time.
